Endodontic treatment

Root canals can be curved, narrow, filled with old fillings or simply difficult to pass.

A microscope used during treatment increases the view and visibility, and helps the work to be carried out carefully and

quality.

Root canal treatment is needed when the tooth pulp (tooth nerve) is infected with microorganisms or their toxins.

Root canal treatment involves removing the blood vessels and nerves that feed the tooth from the canals, dilating, cleaning and sealing them with special filling materials.

For best results, we use a high-resolution microscope for endodontic treatment.

This technology allows us to effectively see even the smallest abnormalities in root canals and to help patients with difficult cases.

It happens that during root canal treatment, part of the instrument used to clean the root canal breaks off (a foreign body), blocking the rest of the root canal with the dirt that remains there.

Under the control of a microscope, the removal of the foreign body becomes possible using special instruments.

Metal pins can be used to restore teeth (dentures).

If the roots have not been properly healed before the prosthetic treatment, in some cases these metal plugs (cult liners) have to be removed in order to rebuild the root canals with high quality.

After removing the carious tissue from the root canals, locating all the canals, cleaning and disinfecting them, the canals are sealed with a special canal sealing material.
