About service

Healthy, protected teeth are the secret to good health and a healthy body! Timely preventive check-ups, professional oral hygiene and careful oral and dental care at home help prevent many dental problems, but sometimes they are unavoidable. One of the most common problems is tooth decay. This is the progressive decay of hard tissues caused by acids on the surface of the tooth. Therapeutic dental treatment and dental fillings are needed to combat this condition.

Treatment of tooth caries

This is a simple dental procedure. If the signs of tooth decay are noticed early, drilling and filling may not be necessary. In contrast, in the treatment of advanced decay, the tooth is cleaned and treated, and the carious cavity (hole) is filled.

With timely help, the tooth is successfully protected. However, if left untreated, caries will penetrate into the deeper layers of the tooth and can lead to complications such as inflammation in the root canal, so caries must be treated immediately.

The dental filling process

After assessing the patient's dental condition, treatment is started. First, local anaesthesia is applied, which prevents pain and other unpleasant sensations during treatment.

Once the anaesthesia has worked, the carious cavity is opened and the decayed tooth tissue is cleaned with special instruments. Finally, the cavity is disinfected and hermetically sealed with a high-quality filling material. During the treatment, the tooth is spared, preserving its vitality, aesthetics and functionality.

It is recommended not to eat for at least 2 hours after the filling (or until the facial numbness caused by the anaesthesia has passed).
